The Gonstead Clinical Studies Society presents . . .
Gonstead Meeting of the Minds-X
“Our Chiropractic Differences/Our Similarities”
Palmer College of Chiropractic-Davenport, IA
October 5—6, 2013 (Saturday-Sunday)
The 10th Gonstead Meeting of the Minds, will be on “Differences and Similarities”. What better place to host this meeting than at The Fountainhead—Davenport, Iowa—where the forefathers of our profession dialogued extensively to forge this great profession.
The weekend will focus on differences in three areas. First, we’ll look at some of the ways accomplished Gonstead practitioners think and then apply the Gonstead technique in practice. Secondly, we will examine some differences between Gonstead chiropractic practices and their results, as well as, other techniques and their results. Thirdly, we’ll focus on how we modern chiropractors are fundamentally different from others on a humanity level. This program is guaranteed to sharpen your Gonstead focus in a way no other seminar has!
This year’s “Meeting of the Minds” offers a rare glimpse into how Dr. Gonstead really practiced his art! MoM-X brings five of Dr. Gonstead’s patients together at the same time and place to discuss how he cared for them on a regular basis. While we all know people who were occasionally adjusted by Dr. Gonstead, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear and ask the personal questions about how Dr. Gonstead practiced – not what he presented at seminars! Drs. John Rosser, Paul Hopkins, Larry Landers, Richard Cranwell, and session organizer William Pollack will discuss what it was like to be a patient of and receive ongoing care from Dr. G. If you have ever really wanted to know what is was like – you should attend this event!
Student-Masters Workshop on Friday, October 4 – 5:00 pm. It is a MoM tradition to sponsor a Free Friday night “Master’s Workshop”. Attendees share their years of expertise with students, the next generation, and local doctors. Everyone is invited to attend the Friday night Pizza Party following the workshop.
MoM happens only once per year—Come see what you’ve been missing!
Who Can Attend this premier gathering? Because it is a participatory event, MoM is open solely to GCSS Fellows, Diplomates, and Diplomate-candidates, as well as Gonstead chiropractors who have been in practice at least 20 years. Membership with the GCSS is not a pre-requisite.
