Job Title: Chiropractor (Gonstead-Inspired Adjusting + Integrative Care)

About Us:
Lee Chiropractic in Oakland, CA is an established but always growing, patient-centered chiropractic and wellness clinic dedicated to delivering precise, effective care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone that utilizes Gonstead style adjusting with a variety of complementary techniques such as extremity adjusting and sports rehab to address structural, functional, and soft tissue imbalances. We also offer massage and acupuncture by other fully licensed practitioners. We and believe in individualized care, without being tied to one rigid protocol.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Chiropractor who is trained in or comfortable with Gonstead manual adjusting, but not necessarily the entire Gonstead protocol. Instead, our approach incorporates other assessment tools and modalities to support clinical outcomes. You’ll have the freedom to tailor care plans to each patient using your clinical judgment and a mix of hands-on and adjunct therapies. Also have the ability to refer to other clinicians in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specific, manual chiropractic adjustments with an emphasis on spinal integrity using a Gonstead-style approach along with the ability integrate extremity assessment and adjusting with rehab protocols.
- Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments using postural analysis, palpation, and motion testing (X-ray not available onsite)
- Integrate additional modalities such as soft tissue work, stretching, rehab exercises, or physiotherapy techniques
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, movement strategies, and long-term wellness
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with a supportive team of practitioners and administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from an accredited institution
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice in California
- Skilled in manual adjusting with a strong preference for Gonstead-style and extremity techniques
- Open to or experienced in blending different modalities for patient-centered care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to have fun in the office
- Committed to evidence-informed practice and long-term patient outcomes
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- CCSP or CCEP a huge plus
- Proficiency or interest in soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, ART, or movement-based rehab
- Experience in wellness, family and sports practice settings
- Bilingual a plus (especially Spanish or Mandarin
